Program Oversight and Evaluation
The Institute of Public Law (IPL) monitors programs funded or licensed by the Traffic Safety Bureau of the New Mexico Department of Transportation. The purpose is to recognize programs operating successfully and to identify and correct rule violations. Our staff conduct site visits around the state and file written reports on the findings. Reports are shared with program managers who work to bring the program into compliance whenever possible.
