Distance Learning In particular, judges and court staff statewide have benefited from video conferences conducted over the internet through our partnership with the Judicial Information Division of the Administrative Office of the Courts, from satellite broadcasts originating from the University of New Mexico, and from web-based educational resources that can be accessed in courts statewide. IPL also produces CD-ROM programs that can be played on office personal computers.
The Institute of Public Law (IPL) provides quality educational programming and resources throughout New Mexico over the internet through synchronous and asynchronous training programs, real time webcasts, video conferencing and custom website development. We offer government offices across the state access to vital, up-to-date information without incurring the time and expense of traveling to conferences.

JEC's Online Course: Handling Domestic Violence Cases
Presented in eight weekly modules, this course is designed to teach judges, commissioners, hearing officers, probation officers, court staff, and other professionals about domestic violence and encourage adoption of appropriate domestic violence-related programs and practices in courts throughout the state. It includes video presentations, resource materials and listserv discussions.
